Querida Patty, have you ever heard of a huelga de brazos caídos? It means now we only use our hearts and arms to help & hold most those who want to help all. The rest get silencio. No harshness, no stridency, no lashing out. Silencio. Because we need all of our energies to hold each other tight to make it thru to a better time. Te abrazo fuerte🥰

What is a moon cycle tracker?

Period tracking apps! Those gotta go. We now need to work to keep their legislative arms off our reproductive system.

Ha ha!! When I first read your note above about removing from our cells I seriously thought you were talking about removing them from our bodies! 😂

Have you ever heard this quote? It is...a bit stingy but so true -- "In order to rise From its own ashes A phoenix First Must Burn." Octavia Butler.

It hurts to burn... but we will rise, as you said...

I am a little shy to say that I have NOT heard the complete quote. Thank you for sharing it, Corie.

I will not forget it now.

"In order to rise From its own ashes A phoenix First Must Burn." Octavia Butler.

Life is just plain NOT simple and not easy.

So true all of this and so beautifully said. We have much still to nurture. We are in this together. Thank you. Laura Pravitz

I have loved your writings. You must be talking about the election. In my view we've been under siege for 4 years! I freakin' full of joy now. I don't think that abortion should be a political issue, it's a state issue, I wish politicians would keep their fingers off that. That aside, overall, I feel great relief now. And financial hope as a solopreneur. Everyone has the right to support whatever candidate/party they want. It shouldn't make the "other" side an enemy. And in a free country that should be respected instead of used to divide the country as it has been in the past 15 years. This is America. The other party will be on top again at some point. That's how politics works. Everyone takes turns. Yin-Yang, Light-Dark, it's all part of the balance.

I hear you, Beth. You and I disagree about many things and I’m sure we also agree about many others. The embracing message of love includes us all. Love never seeks to vilify, divide, or pit one against the other. I think it is important and time for all of us to look deeply at our motives and our actions. You, me, and everyone else, regardless of our politics. We are human first. The building of respect - respect for others, our humanity, and our planet - is a goal that I’m sure you and I share.

Thank you for sharing your voice here!
