just saying this is very hard right now
Is anyone else having difficulty doing their work right now? I was secretly hoping to get over this more quickly.Â
Grief and fear are powerful when joined. Paralyzing even. How long will this need to be held? It won't go away, and yet, as so many of you have said, "We will rise up!".Â
But how? Okay, I hope so.Â
One thing I know is we need deeper roots. We need the support of nature's web. We need the love that is buried in plain sight - and now feels obscured, and under siege.
Love is right there. Right at the very core of who we are and yet....right now, it is nurturing the depth of our sadness. Love does underly grief, and the grief may shroud it temporarily, but it will again be the power...the source of even our rage.
Our babies and our loves are watching.
