I think farming is of the most noble a noble and sacred act. (Not factory farming, but honoring the land kinda farming.)

Amen! Looking forward to working in a farm field and donning my goofy glasses to see whatever sights the sky holds for us here in western Mass. Ever grateful for yoga community in my life.

Happy eclipse day! I am watching in my hometown in suburban Cleveland, OH, right at the center of the path of totality 😊 soaking up rest, relaxation, family and taking time to honor the present moment, nature, the warmth of the sun, the beauty and mystery of the universe. I hope you get clear skies!

Patty! Appt. 20 years ago I was working in my garden when the full eclipse occurred. The world got quiet. Birds stopped singing. Wind in trees stopped blowing. The day became dark. I will never forget the feeling that I was so small, a part of a universe so much larger than this short time I am here on earth. That feeling never left me, and I get to experience it all over again today, but with loved ones this time. Why do I spent so much time painting? Because I believe in a higher power, something I am after in this life's work of mine!!!!! Thanks for posting this to keep us all the tied all the closer today, (everyday)!!!!!! Love to Paul and your growing family. One day I will visit. Love, Lorna

I will imagine you out in your garden, probably with a paint brush in hand rather than planting at this early spring time eclipse. As you know, I will be on one of yours, mine, and all of ours sacred beaches.

We took our beloved camper van to Burlington Vermont to witness totality. Someone said recently that life is a spiritual journey… the sacredness of just being here when I take it in - is profound. To witness this astrological phenomena is a powerful reminder that we are on a planet - so small - yet part of it all.

Absolutely, Corie. It feels wonderful to be finding so much more sacredness in life, even as so much in our lives is so impossible to absorb and understand. We need the sacred more than ever and we are blessed if we can see it.
