Introducing the gifts behind the pay wall!
This is the first time these materials have been available to yoga practitioners and teachers everywhere. It is my pleasure to invite you into this progressive learning journey into embodying your yoga. Go at your own pace!
Why become a paid subscriber?
By becoming a paid subscriber (very inexpensive for what it is) you gain access to the Embodyoga In-depth Study Manual, and the 200 and 300 Hr. Teacher Training Manuals. You will also have the opportunity to dialogue with me and your peers as you proceed at your own pace, in your own study.
These manuals are extensive.
We cover asana, pranayama, and in-depth philosophy from an embodied perspective. We include embodied anatomy — bones and muscles, organs, glands, nervous system, etc. Full sections on forward and backward bending. Movement principles and sequences for your practice. Helpful guides for teachers on ways to refine your offerings.

Want to know a little bit more before you subscribe?
Embodyoga is a somatically based philosophical inquiry into yoga.
Our inquiry explores the living weave of our individual and universal selves. We want to know — through direct experience — what it means to be a part of that, our place within it, and our responsibilities to act in the best interests of the whole.
Not trying to get out of being human, we seek to place our joys and sorrows, our lives, and the eventual dissolution of our lived experiences directly and consciously into the context of the universality of existence. Embracing a philosophy of unity may be nice and help us understand the context of our practices, but what we are looking for is the actual knowing, living, and being it. We want to step into the waves of life directly, not simply see it from a thoughtful vantage point, but to live it.
What we have found is that one way to recognize the universal self is to not resist the personal. Instead, acknowledge and allow — without resistance — the play of life that is taking place in our own body-mind systems.
Never not broken… the gift of imperfection
In Embodyoga, we practice from the perspective that acceptance of imperfection is both process and goal for being able to witness and live the awake knowledge of the radiance that underlies it all.
Soon, very soon, (tomorrow morning) I will post the first section of the 200-hr Manual and Study Guide behind the paywall!
I hope to see you there.
With love,
❤️
Patty
Hi Joanne!
So good to hear from you and sending all love and good wishes to you from our new home in Maine.
I know you subscribe already to the video subscription offered on my web site. This is different. This one is primarily written material. Specifically from the teacher training and study manuals. Ha ha! These manuals were developed quite a while after you took your teacher training with me. These evolved as I continued to deepen my experience and study with Bonnie.
The idea here is to follow along, reading and practicing on your own, sharing and inquiring together, as you travel through the manuals at your own rate.
I think you would enjoy this. It is not a replacement for the other video subscription. Who knows, you may want to have them both!
With love to you my old friend,
Patty
PS I will never forget us being on the stairs at the Yoga Center when we found out about the attack on the World Trade Center!
How exciting! I pay $5 for your postings which are always filled with a depth of progressive teaching that can’t be found anywhere! . Is there a different level of paid subscription ?
