Exploring Your Elemental Nature
A guided practice sensing how earth, water, fire, air, and space shape experience
We’re made of emptiness and rhythm — yes.
And we’re also made of form.
In yoga, the forms that shape us are called the elements:
earth, water, fire, air, and space.
These aren’t abstract ideas. They describe how you’re built, how you feel, how you move, and how you meet life.
This short video introduces you to these elemental qualities directly — not as concepts, but as lived experience — so you can begin to recognize how your own elemental nature is shaping everything.

I finally got around to this and I so appreciate having this little reminder about how all the elements are in play with each other. When we get into extreme cold (or extreme heat) I find myself often getting caught focusing only on that element that feels like it will counter the effects of the season, and not on the balances (or imbalances!) between them.
